Biography
Eleanor Hoad is an environmental artist exploring sustainability in the city and urban Permaculture. She has been involved in a wide variety of community based ecological and social arts projects. Recent key projects include: project manager of ‘Wythenshawe Forever!’ a Manchester based climate change project, including 10 artist commissions, a 50ft temporary structure and a community festival and a lead artist for ‘Brave New Brum’ which explored Birmingham’s regeneration in a solar-powered recycled media-lab in a caravan.
Eleanor is currently working in several schools to make creative outdoor learning spaces and on a variety of urban food production projects.
